JOB SUMMARY
California State University San Bernardino invites applications for part time faculty clinical instructor positions in the Department of Nursing. Candidates must be able to work well with administration local hospitals as well as community agencies. Evidence of BRN approval must be provided at the time of application.
TYPICAL ACTIVITIES
Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and to working effectively with faculty staff and students across a wide range of disciplines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must be qualified to teach at the undergraduate level in the BSN generic program with clinical expertise in nursing. Candidates must show outstanding teaching experience or potential. California RN license is required for this appointment and clinical skills must be current. The department is seeking candidates to participate in our expanding programs and to apply their expertise in multicultural communities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
Evidence of scholarly activity publication and innovation is valued. Evidence of exemplary graduatelevel teaching and leadership experience at program level is preferred and should be noted in application.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
The person holding this position is considered a mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
Following a conditional offer of employment a background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate may start work with CSUSB.
