IMPART Alliance is a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on supporting the direct care workforce in Michigan. We are committed to advancing the wellbeing of direct care workers including personal care aides home health aides and other vital support staff through research advocacy and policy development. Our mission is to identify challenges address workforce shortages enhance retention and build capacity to ensure that direct care workers receive the support they need to thrive in their roles.
We are seeking a dynamic and visionaryResearch Administratorto lead and grow our research and evaluation initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee qualitative and quantitative research projects assessments and evaluations that drive policy recommendations program improvements and strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening Michigans direct care workforce.
The Research Administrator will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive research agenda that evaluates the needs challenges and successes of Michigans direct care workforce. The role will involve collaboration with stakeholders across the state including government agencies communitybased organizations and direct care workers themselves. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a field that is central to the health and wellbeing of Michigans communities.
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a fouryear college degree program in Business administration Finance Social Work or Sociology ; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in research administration including the area of pre or postaward processes or related field such as regulatory administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This job requires completion of Essentials of Research Administration (MSU Certificate) or equivalent within one year of hire.
At least 5 years of experience conducting research with a proven track record in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Experience leading research projects from inception to completion including data collection analysis and reporting. Previous experience working with or conducting research on workforce development direct care work or related sectors is strongly preferred. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. SPSS Stata R NVivo) and familiarity with advanced research methodologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences. Experience in grant writing project management and stakeholder engagement. Strong commitment to social justice equity and improving the conditions for workers in underresourced sectors. Collaborative teamoriented approach to leadership. Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment with a high level of initiative and problemsolving ability.
