Job Description
Overview
The Programmer/Analyst SR will be responsible for leading a team of programmers and analysts in the design development implementation and maintenance of software applications and systems. They will be providing technical guidance and mentorship while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of programmers and analysts in designing developing implementing and maintaining new software applications and systems designed to support youth transitions to employment and community participation
- Plan assign and delegate tasks to team members monitor project progress and ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards
- Scope design and estimate programming projects transforming functional requirements into detailed technical designs
- Design develop modify and document complex applications programs writing clean efficient and maintainable code with an emphasis on a rich user experience and on accessibility
- Analyze user requirements define system specifications and design logical data models
- Provide technical expertise conduct code reviews and implement best practices for software development and project management
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- 6 years of experience in software development and analysis
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with various programming languages and technologies
- Knowledge of software developmentmethodologies (e.g. Agile Lean Scrum)
- Uptodate knowledge of industry trends and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in project management methodologies(e.g. PMP)
- Experience with database design and administration
- Experience with cloud computing technologies
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
