We have an opportunity for a Patient Experience Manager in our AbbVie Care for Neuroscience division. In this role you will be responsible for managing crossfunctional cooperation by coordinating an effective multidisciplinary field team to ensure strategic and tactical alignment between crossfunctional team members and other fieldbased and brand team activities.
Responsibilities
- Leverage a strong strategic approach and understanding of the patient journeys AbbVie Care analytics access and reimbursement to ensure the AbbVie Care experience is optimized for patients on our Parkinsons medications.
- Develop & Implement AbbVie Care regional and national strategic Parkinsons Disease patient support program (PSP) plan.
- Build coordinated and cross functional plans involving the AbbVie Care fieldbased teams to target specific opportunities to improve our PSP offerings.
- Work closely with clinics and health care professionals (HCPs) in order to adjust program elements as required nationally.
- Foster proactive continued quality improvement and conduct regular reviews with a targeted group of HCPs.
- Identify opportunities and key projects where patient care could be optimized and build and lead the targeted action plans.
- Ensure key projects are properly scoped and managed to meet quality and budget objectives as well as tied to specified timelines and milestones.
- Lead and execute AbbVie Care crossfunctional initiatives or special projects that will enhance patientfocused services and solutions.
- Work in the field and perform regular calls with physicians and/or office staff to execute project plans and build strong customer relationships nationally.
- Develop relationships and gain trust quickly with internal and external partners.
- Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures to IMC and PIPEDA guidelines as well as internal standard operating procedures.

Education
- Bachelors degree in Science or Medical designation is preferred but not required.
Experience and knowledge
- Relevant experience with proven track record of success within biotech/pharma
- Broad business perspective and strong understanding of strategic drivers
- Strong patient support program experience is critical
- Compile patient and customer insights from data and analytics
- Strong understanding of reimbursement & access landscape
- Project management principles and methods
Essential skills and abilities
- Lead crossfunctional plans with colleagues not under your direct supervision.
- Strong decisionmaking behaviour and prioritization to ensure efficient use of resources and address critical issues impacting the patient PSP and brands.
- Work effectively as part of a highperforming team.
- Ability to negotiate projects resources and timelines
- Deliver high quality customer service & client management to partners of the program.
- Demonstrate political savvy and strong business acumen.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Qubec based PEM must be fluently bilingual French and English oral and written
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint)
- Intermediate knowledge of specific databases such as FORCE
Travel
- Travel within the district/territory and national meetings about 4060 of the time (this can vary from one territory to another).
- Available to work outside works hours on occasion.
