The salary for this role is 31100. Onsite working is expected for 3 days a week however we actively support requests for flexible working.
This role is to be based at the following site; Culham Oxfordshire.
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.
The Role

As IP Technical Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in providing both technical and paralegal support and coordination services to the Innovation Division to support ongoing activities which include working closely with other divisions programmes and external organisations to generate and identify novel technology solutions; protect UKAEA intellectual property and work on the development of these innovations. You will support the Intellectual Property Management Office (IPMO) in administering UKAEA IP protection processes which includes liaising with inventors from different divisions and programmes and with external IP law firms and patent search firms to initiate and track the progress of applications and searches. You will work across complex projects within the UKAEA. You will also act as an advisor to project managers and Innovation leads specialising in IP management processes. In addition you will be responsible for supporting and facilitating project activities liaising directly with Innovation leads and project managers to ensure delivery milestones. You will also support the development of an innovation pipeline and the UKAEA IP which will include technical innovations that may arise from UKAEA staff contracts collaborations or elsewhere.
