Job Description
The candidate will be working on experimental and data analysis activities for the development of an intelligent set of controls for Residential Air Conditioners. Ensuring a smooth operation of RAC tests data collection analysis and validation of concepts related to energy management and thermal comfort optimization are the expectations.
As an Intern Sustainable HVACs MSc/PhD students you will support the following key tasks in collaboration with experience team members.
- Conducting RAC tests in Robert Bosch SEA Corporate Research HVAC testbed/lab
- Physical simulation of control cases on testbed data acquisition processing storage and analysis
- Data postprocessing and visualization monitor controls performance.
- Execute and analyze experiment results with statistical tools to provide insights for further test and algorithm improvements related to comfort management waste of energy and robust operation of RACs.
Qualifications :
- Able to work full time for a period of 6 months 01.05.2025 to 30.11.2025
- Educational background in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Experienced in sensor data collection communication protocols IoT devices.
- Basic understanding of thermodynamics air conditioning fundamentals.
- Knowledge of python SQL for data analysis Docker Home Assistant platform would be beneficial.
- Willing to perform handson experiments.

- Candidate should fulfil the visa requirements for employment in Singapore.
- must be enrolled throughout internship period or plan to pursue further studies.
