Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer you ll drive the technical vision build missioncritical systems and lead architectural decisions powering healthcare operations for over 60 clinics. Collaborating with a global crossfunctional team youll shape scalable solutions using a modern fullstack TypeScript stack all within a fastgrowing remotefirst health tech startup built for impact.
Job Overview
Shift: Night Shift (Mon Fri 09:00 PM 06:00 AM) Weekends Off
Work Setup: Permanent Work From Home
- Design implement and maintain highly scalable and highperforming services and applications
- Improve the codebase and test coverage through refactoring unit testing system testing and deployment automation
- Develop and enhance internal tooling and systems to support ongoing scaling efforts
- Mentor team members on design techniques establish coding standards and provide feedback to ensure best practices
- Conduct architectural work exploring and experimenting with emerging technologies
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance product and service capabilities through datadriven insights
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- 5 years of experience building robust and scalable fullstack applications databases and developer tools
- Strong experience designing building deploying operating and maintaining production applications at scale
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript (TypeScript) React NodeJS (NestJS) and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with modern web technologies such as HTTP2 WebSockets gRPC and GraphQL
- Proficiency in improving codebases through automated testing (ViTest Cypress Playwright) continuous integration and deployment (CircleCI GitHub Actions CodeFresh)
- Proven ability to architect and develop solutions for ambiguous problems with significant impact
Nice to Haves
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog Grafana Sentry CloudWatch etc.
- Handson experience with infrastructureascode in production environments
- Familiarity with frontend and internal UI technologies (ReTool Salesforce Communities Contentful React NextJS)
- Experience with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong background in designing versioning and scaling APIs
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as GoLang Python JavaScript TypeScript or Kotlin
- Experience in healthcare health tech working with clinical staff or regulated industries (especially EHR/EMR integration)
- Skilled in debugging distributed systems
- Experience working with container runtime environments like AWS Fargate
