What Youll Do at Work
Dive deep into the realm of Security Engineering where you will install commission and maintain electronic systems that protect individuals homes and properties.
Master the art of installing and maintaining cuttingedge systems including intrusion detection CCTV systems and access control.
Our team primarily focuses on large installation projects which typically take 36 months to complete.
Gain invaluable experience across both the installation and service teams as part of this role.
Hit the road with your own company van traveling daily to client premises where each day brings new challenges.
Work closely with your dedicated team absorbing essential skills to become a qualified security engineer.
Where Youll Work
You will travel within the Reading to Central London Region and surrounding areas.

Full Driving License essential
You will go through a detailed thorough security clearance process due to the nature of customers. A clean background and evidence of this is required
Desired qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in IT (Grade 5 desirable. Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have as they can adjust the apprenticeship to match your current knowledge.

Whats Next
Suitable candidates will be contacted via email to provide their evidence of required certifications. Once we receive the evidence of certification you will have a screening call with a recruiter to discuss the position. Afterward you will be invited to an assessment centre where you will participate in a practical assessment meet the team and have an interview.
Candidates will receive a response regarding the outcome of their application. If successful they can expect to begin the apprenticeship with Johnson Controls in the late summer of 2025.
