Responsibilities may include:
Lead and organize outreach programs workshops and training sessions to provide education and practical insights into digital agriculture advancements bridging the gap between research and realworld applications.
Engage with farmers agricultural organizations and industry professionals to share research outcomes promote new technologies and foster strong longterm relationships for effective adoption of precision agriculture solutions.
Coordinate partnerships with STEM education and 4H initiatives related to precision agriculture.
Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary precision agriculture projects from conception to completion ensuring the design implementation and evaluation of solutions that drive agricultural productivity.
Prepare reports research papers and presentations to communicate project findings innovations and recommendations to stakeholders internal teams and the broader agricultural community.
Represent the organization at conferences events and policy discussions to advocate for precision agriculture advancements.
Quantify impact of outreach programs through rigorous methodology and share impacts broadly with internal and external partners.
May actively serve as a formal and informal advisor to graduate students.
This position will be hired as an Engineer III.
This is an initial threeyear term position with expectation for renewal based on availability of funding.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
