This position is a part of the Staff Development and Training section within Juvenile Justice. This position is located at Central Office in Raleigh NC. The Staff Development Coordinator position is responsible for:
assisting with course schedules for Juvenile Justice personnel in accordance with rules regulations and guidelines set forth by the Criminal Justice Training and Standards Commission Department and the Division
supporting the work of the Juvenile Justice Training Committee and the Annual Training Review Commitee
Work is performed independently with direction from the Director of Staff Development and Training and in collaboration with section management.

Masters degree in a human service related field such as Sociology Psychology Education or Health Education; or a degree providing background in organizational analysis and management development from an appropriately accredited institution with two years of experience in a progressive training role which includes some administrative/coordinative duties in staff development with two years being in the work area assigned or a related program area
OR
Bachelors degree in a human service related field such as Sociology Psychology Education or Health Education; or a degree providing background in organizational analysis and management development from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience in a progressive training role which includes some administrative/coordinative duties in staff development with two years being in the work area assigned or a related program area
OR
an equivalent combination of education and experience
