Legislative Audit is looking for an experienced motivated and skilled individual to perform audits of various state agencies and departments.

Qualifications :
Legislative Auditor II:
Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Accounting Business Administration or related fields. 2 to 3 years experience in auditing information technology/systems auditing financial analysis accounting or other relevant fields. Candidates are not required to be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for employment.
However certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Investments and Derivatives Auditor (CIDA) may substitute for experience.
Legislative Auditor III:
Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Accounting Business Administration or related fields. 4 to 6 years experience in auditing information technology/systems auditing financial analysis accounting or other relevant fields. Candidates are not required to be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for employment.
However certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Investments and Derivatives Auditor (CIDA) may substitute for experience.
Knowledge of the following would be beneficial:
Microsoft Excel Word and other desktop tools;
Governmental Accounting;
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Governmental Auditing Standards.
