Job Summary
Le titulaire de ce poste fournit un service de livraison ponctuel des produits aux clients. Il reprsente thyssenkrupp Matriaux NA de faon positive en offrant aux clients un service de livraison rapide prcis utile courtois et professionnel. Il veille galement ce que le camion soit en bon tat. Enfin il accomplit diverses tches selon les besoins.Provide timely delivery of product to our customers. Represent thyssenkrupp Materials NA in a positive manner by providing customers with quick precise helpful courteous and professional delivery service. Ensure truck is in proper working order. Perform various duties as required.
Job Description
Responsabilits cls:
- sassurer que les bons articles sont chargs dans le camion en vue de la livraison;
- effectuer des inspections priodiques avant pendant et aprs la livraison pour sassurer que le chargement est bien attach et scuritaire;
- aider charger et dcharger les camions tout en sassurant que le camion est scuritaire et quil nest pas surcharg;
- sassurer que les matriaux sont convenablement protgs des intempries;
- remettre les produits et documents aux clients en temps opportun et de manire courtoise;
- veiller ce que tout dgt caus par le chargement ou le dchargement du camion soit nettoy;
- veiller lentretien du camion et effectuer les inspections requises;
- remplir toute la documentation requise la fin du quart de travail. Il peut notamment sagir de registres quotidiens de registres dinspection de reus de livraison de rapports dinspection du vhicule du registre des heures de travail etc.;
- utiliser des ponts roulants et des chariots lvateurs;
- recueillir le paiement dans les cas de livraison contre remboursement;
- donner une rtroaction aux superviseurs quant aux problmes des clients aux problmes mcaniques ou aux difficults relatives la livraison en ramenant les documents de preuve de livraison (feuille de chargement);
- participer des activits relatives la gestion allge ou la qualit;
- former dautres employs au besoin;
- possder les qualits et comptences exiges des employs de TKMNA;

Qualifications:
Exigences minimales:
- diplme dtudes secondaires ou formation gnrale;
- permis de conduire de classe approprie (c.d. permis de conduire commercial de classe A ou B ou de classe 1 au Canada);
- capacit de soulever rgulirement des charges pouvant atteindre 40lb.
Atouts:
- trois cinq ans dexprience de conduite.
Key Accountabilities:
- Verify that correct items are loaded on the truck for delivery.
- Perform periodic inspections before during and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure.
- Assist in loading and unloading of trucks. Ensure truck is properly secured and not overweight.
- Ensure that material is properly protected from the outdoor elements.
- Deliver product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner.
- Ensure that any debris caused by the loading/unloading of truck is cleaned up.
- Maintain trucks overall service and perform required inspections.
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. May include but not limited to daily logs inspection logs delivery receipts vehicle inspection hours of service etc.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Collect any COD money owed and ensure that money is given to the proper personnel upon return to the plant.
- Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems mechanical problems or delivery problems on returned proof of delivery sheets (load sheet)
- Assist in activities related to lean and/or quality.
- Train others when required.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Applicable motor vehicle licensing (i.e. CDL class A and/or B or class 1
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a continuous basis
Preferred Requirements:
- 35 years driving experience
