About the Role:

05The Team:Core Services is a global technology team to foster innovation accelerate focuses on building modern cloud native frameworks and platforms while offering employees the opportunity to work in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment. We are building a cloud native microservices framework that is a ground up oncloud and let engineering teams create production ready cloud native microservices faster.
Responsibilities and Impact:
The Summer Internship Program will provide you with a variety of experiences to help you identify your strengths develop highly transferable skills and align you to a successful career path for a bright future at S&P Global.
- Design develop and deploy full stack applications using cuttingedge technologies like Java Python JavaScript.
- Build robust Core APIs using Java/Python and React to drive seamless user experiences.
- Ensure code quality and reliability by writing comprehensive unit tests and participating in technical design reviews.
- Collaborate closely with teammates to brainstorm solutions share knowledge and tackle complex problems.
- Follow best practices to deploy completed work to QA and production environments adhering to our rigorous release standards.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $25 to $35. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and certifications.
This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
What Were Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing Bachelors degree in Computer Science with expected graduation date in Spring 2026.
- Knowledge of objectoriented design design patterns.
- Has knowledge of software development engineering processes.
- Understanding of essential technologies: Java Python JavaScript
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to identify opportunities for innovation to enhance our offerings.
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask across projects.
Additional Prefered Qualifications:
- AWS certifications/experience.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Docker Kubernetes.
