You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUnder the general direction of the Licensing Supervisor the Licensing Examiner is responsible for reviewing and evaluating all applications for alcoholic beverage and licenses endorsements and permits. The Examiner advises the Control Board (MCB) and Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board on potential issues of concern regarding statutory and regulatory compliance for applications the Examiner has reviewed. The Examiner completes all post board meeting delegations to ensure timely issuance of approved applications.
The Examiner works in a team environment sharing their expertise with a team of Examiners AMCOs Enforcement Unit Regulation Specialist 2 Local Government Specialist 4 administrative support staff Licensing Supervisor Program Coordinator and Director.
The Examiner regularly communicates with applicants; attorneys for applicants; local city/borough/municipal governments; other state agencies such as planning revenue and fire safety; the public at large; and assists individuals in identifying the appropriate license endorsement or permit type for their business needs.
