The Data Center Engineering Availability team is looking for a Maintenance Ops Readiness Sr. TPM to serve as a technical resource and leader. The builder will serve as a technical resource in the development of maintenance programs for power and cooling equipment within AWS Data Centers. This individual will be responsible for driving largescale global projects and initiatives that directly impact availability for our customers. They will continually improve existing programs while at the same time solve new problems. The role will require an individual who is comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous space and can deliver and define solutions to problems. They will be capable of growing and adapting their skill sets as the team scope changes. It will be expected that this individual is capable of writing one to six page narratives on efforts and present both written and verbal up to the Director level.

This role is for Herndon VA only and not open for other locations. This is an onsite role.

Key job responsibilities
Our Maintenance Ops Readiness TPMs are individuals who demonstrate initiative and proactively seek solutions to problems.
Own and deliver largescale and complex global engineering and operational programs and initiatives that directly impact capacity delivery and availability for our customers.
Partnering with and influence the direction of multiple engineering and operations teams within and outside of AWS to deliver complex/crossfunctional projects
Mentor train and develop career progression for members of the organization .
Obsess over team learning and development both from a technical/functional and soft skills (critical thinking emotional intelligence and adaptability) development perspective.
Develop improve and share operational best practices across the region and with peers globally.

A day in the life
As a Maintenance Ops Readiness TPM you will work closely with multiple stakeholder teams to define and implement global maintenance standards for assigned domains. You will work with software development teams to identify and implement automation opportunities and you will explore opportunities to utilize RCM and implement CBM to your domain.

5 years of technical product or program management experience
7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3 years of software development experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
5 years of analytical quantitative communication and presentations experience

5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multimillion dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
5 cumulative years of experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers power generation oil/gas facilities. Electrical substations experience is a plus.
