Amazon is seeking an innovative Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead our Personalization Privacy program. This role sits at the intersection of two critical priorities: delivering personalized experiences while safeguarding customer privacy.
As our privacypreserving personalization expert youll architect solutions that balance innovation with protection mapping how customer data flows through Amazons systems and ensuring our personalization strategies align with evolving regulations like GDPR and DMA. Youll partner with Principal Engineers and senior leaders to make highstakes decisions about technical architecture drive implementation of privacypreserving features and build a comprehensive 3 year roadmap for technical innovation.
This role demands someone who can both dive deep into complex data flows and zoom out to shape strategic privacy practices across Amazon personalizationpowered experiences. Youll lead critical partnerships across engineering teams drive quarterly business reviews and ensure were setting ambitious yet achievable goals for privacycentric personalization.

Key job responsibilities
Define and own Amazons global privacypreserving personalization strategy including multiyear roadmap development and organizational alignment at the VP level.
Lead investment planning and resource allocation across engineering organizations to deliver privacycentric personalization initiatives.
Establish governance frameworks and architectural standards for privacycompliant personalization systems partnering with Principal Engineers and senior technical leaders.
Drive strategic compliance planning for GDPR DMA and emerging global privacy regulations translating complex requirements into actionable technical programs.
Own executivelevel relationships and alignment across privacy personalization and business stakeholders serving as the bridge between technical implementation and business strategy.
Direct the scoping and of largescale technical transformations that fundamentally improve how Amazon handles customer data across its personalization systems.
Build and lead the organizational structure for privacypreserving personalization including standardsetting decision frameworks and operational excellence mechanisms.
Drive consensus on complex technical decisions related to privacy architecture and implementation approaches.
Own quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with VPlevel stakeholders ensuring privacy initiatives align with broader organizational objectives.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators that demonstrate the business impact and effectiveness of privacypreserving personalization initiatives.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
