Have a passion for driving change and innovation Amazon is looking for an analytical driven and creative leader to join the Consumables Operations & Initiatives team to drive crossfunctional projects for our Consumables businesses (Grocery Health and Personal Care Beauty Baby and Pets). The teams mission is to create business leverage through datacentric solutions and matrixed collaboration to enable new capabilities for store in support of customers selling partners and category teams. We identify ambiguous problems in line with business needs research solutions with datadriven techniques and build prototypes that can be scaled to production and adopted by owning stakeholder teams.
This Senior Program Manager role will drive critical new defect reduction workstreams for Consumables including new programs to reduce customer returns reduce liquidated inventory and improve catalog health for Consumables. This role will work directly with multiple internal business technology and operations teams and leaders vendors and partner teams across the Consumables business.
Key responsibilities: Be a single threaded owner partnering with crossfunctional teams to drive defect reduction goals. Identify capability gaps and drive workstreams that unlock business value influencing and working with technology operations and business teams and leaders. Partner with product teams to influence innovation on existing (or to build new) systems tools and workflows for category management. Be a subject matter expert in Consumables Retail processes across functions like Vendor Management Marketing and Instock.
The candidate possesses a track record of successful project development and management relationship management strong analytical and business acumen and experience managing reporting and analysis. Great communication skills think big and bias for action will be essential to your success. The ideal candidate is a selfstarter who will take ownership of projects and business problems to a successful result.
