Job Summary/Basic Function

The Department of Chemistry at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a fulltime tenuretrack faculty position #104270 in Inorganic Chemistry at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The start date for the position is August 1 2025.

The successful candidate will joina dynamic department with 33 fulltime faculty members offering ACScertified degrees in Chemistry and ASBMB accredited Biochemistry a MS degree in Chemistry and Ph.D. degrees in three interdisciplinary science programs (Computational Science Molecular Biosciences and Mathematics & Science Education). Required Education

A terminal degree in chemistry or a closely related field is required by the appointment date.

Other Desirables

Applicants with proposed research in computational inorganic chemistry and/or postdoctoral experience will receive special consideration.
