FAES Mahoning CountyThis temporary parttime position is located in Ashtabula County in Jefferson Ohio.
Ohio State University Extension (OSUE) seeks a temporary Program Assistant to work programmatically with county staff and volunteers to support local foods related educational programming and community engagement in Ashtabula County Ohio. The program assistant will work directly with Extension professionals and staff who lead efforts to address community based issues. The program assistant will support Community Development local foods programs which are designed for youth and adult audiences throughout the Ashtabula Community. Assist with updating and creating marketing material planning and conducting the Ashtabula Youth Ag Day planning and conducting farmers markets programs and events and hosting and assisting with community outreach events. The program assistant will also assist with the creation of educational materials conducting community based programs and participate in professional and public meetings.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 46 years of relevant experience preferred.
The pay range for this profile is $16.49 $21.69/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity units available budget and the candidates qualifications.
