About The Role
Were seeking a talented and driven Engineering Manager to support one of our platform engineering teams. In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers overseeing their daily activities and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will play a key role in mentoring and developing your team fostering a collaborative and highperforming culture and working closely with crossfunctional teams as well as the broader ecosystem to achieve our business objectives.
We have many teams in this space their scope entails:
- Application developer services leading to nocode solutions platforms and scalable Indexer in all Web3 https://github/aptoslabs/aptoscore/tree/main/ecosystem/indexergrpc and https://github/aptoslabs/aptosindexerprocessors
- SDK and tools standardization platforms (TS Python Rust Unity/C# Unreal/C)
- Accounts keyless passkeys account abstraction
- Financial services including payments DeFi and Aptos Ascend https://aptosascend/

This role sits in our Palo Alto CA office.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Take ownership of strategic direction of the team by producing roadmaps sharing updates and ensuring your team is engaged appropriately within the broader Aptos effort.
- Work closely with team members to amplify their impact by understanding their passion their goals and connecting them with the best opportunities to land impact.
- Navigating expectations for your team externally that is ensure that your team is properly represented in XFN efforts and that the team timelines and roadmaps can be adequately executed upon.
- Setting expectations for each of your team members participating in performance reviews and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Establishing the right design review processes to ensure that roadmaps are adequately if not exceptionally well executed against.
- Staying active and engaged on topics of cryptocurrency and NFTs and interested in continuously learning about various types of these assets
- Capable of engineering work identifying problems designing solutions and if necessary developing them.
- Working autonomously in a fastpaced highly collaborative environment with an emphasis on crossteam communication
What Were Looking For:
- A minimum of 2 years experiencing managing
- Experience working with teams that contain many senior engineers
- Involvement with Internet culture memes Discord and Twitter
- Prior working exposure with programming languages such as Rust Move TypeScript
- Excellent written and oral communication skills as this role requires frequent communication to members of our community members of our team and various third parties
The base salary range for this fulltime position is $215k $285k. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for the position of a candidate based in the Bay Area at any level. We do hire exceptionally talented professionals with decades of experience in their field. As such our range may be higher than what is displayed. Our base salary ranges are determined by experience and location and we hire at all levels for multiple roles. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location jobrelated skills demonstrated during the interviews working experience and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include equity tokens or benefits.
