About the Role:

Join our Opticomm team at Uniti Group

We are seeking a Business Development Manager MDU to drive and manage the development of new FibretothePremises (FTTP) opportunities and projects across VIC greenfields apartment markets and other verticals. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and advancing innovative projects enhancing our service offerings and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate must have substantial experience in the multidwelling unit (MDU) sector with a proven track record in business development. This includes a deep understanding of industryspecific challenges opportunities and regulatory environments. Successful management of projects or accounts in this sector and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles while building strong relationships with key stakeholders are essential.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team across VIC and nationally to achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of Telco/communication solutions to the development community across VIC
  • Represent the organisation at industry events both locally and interstate as a brand ambassador
  • Actively engage with industry groups to advocate for Opticomms objectives and foster connections
  • Build and nurture strong longterm client relationships
  • Prepare and deliver detailed weekly and monthly sales performance reports
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute impactful marketing strategies
  • Proactively follow up on leads and opportunities generated through marketing campaigns
  • Leverage CRM and internal tools to maintain a robust opportunity pipeline

About you:

Essential Experience:

  • Background in Development/ IT communications or construction sales
  • Previousexperience in the telecommunications industry
  • Strong ability to communicate technical solutions to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Proficient in using CRM tools to manage and track sales pipelines
  • Ability to work independently to achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Experience collaborating with marketing teams and generating sales reports

Critical Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Substantial experience in the (MDU) Multi Dwelling Unit Sector
  • Proven track record of business development within the MDU market
