Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Testing and benchmarking python
parallelization concepts for HPC systems
Acceleration python applications with GPUs
- Provisioning of a python software stack on HPC systems
Secure and license conformant
Easy to use
Support for different tools:
pip conda flavors SPACK containers
- Python user support
Organizing python courses for HPC users
User documentation best practices FAQ
Working on python related user tickets
Basic Qualifications:
- Experienced python programmer for scientific applications
- Experience with HPC environments (module system SLURM etc.
- Using python in parallel environments
- Communicating your knowledge to others (courses supporting students)
- Fluent English language skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Jupyter
- Experience with Julia
- Interfacing python with other highlevel languages (C C
- Using python in workflow tools for throughput computations
- Using python with GPUs
- German language skills
