Job Description
At Amazon Key we are on a mission to empower customers to easily manage access to their homes and businesses. As part of the Amazon Devices and Ring organization we invent new devices software and services to solve critical access problems for our B2C and B2B customers. The Amazon Key marketing team is looking for a Business Analyst to dive deep into our customers journey and our marketing performance to uncover insights that will optimize how we take our products to market. You have analyzed customer journeys end to end and understand how to map a purchase journey. You have experience in performancebased marketing and know how to hone in on the right KPIs to optimize a campaign. You are attentive to detail dive deep to quickly find the root cause of a problem and synthesize insights into actionable business solutions.
In this role you will represent the marketing team as you work closely with internal business intelligence teams to define metrics to measure analyze large datasets and create business reports. You will also work crossfunctionally with stakeholders from product sales and engineering.
Key job responsibilities
Own the design development and maintenance of marketing metrics dashboards and reports across our B2C and B2B businesses
Define the data elements and data structure that our team should leverage to enable analytical and reporting capabilities
Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources (incl. 1P data marketing agency data 3P advertising sites) and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
Prepare and deliver reports to the senior management team with customer insights marketing performance analyses and recommendations for improvements

Working with the business intelligence team and other stakeholders you seek out the right data sources and dive deep into the data to find answers. You work quickly to synthesize insights into actionable recommendations and improvements to report to senior management. Amazon Key sits within the Ring and Amazon Devices organization. We innovate to deliver devices software and services to consumers and businesses. We often serve as the connective tissue between Smart Home/Devices Logistics and Operations and Retail/Shopping. We are a team of inventors and disruptors and we index highly on customer obsession ownership action operational excellence and collaboration.
Bachelors Degree
3 years relevant experience in marketing/business analysis
3 years experience working with a marketing team incl. performance marketing
3 years experience in SQL and Excel (including Pivot Tables array functions Power Pivots etc.
Experience defining business questions and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
2 years of experience with Salesforce or marketing CRM (e.g. reporting on marketing funnel metrics)
2 years experience with performance marketing and/or media reporting
2 years of experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
2 years of experience with a modern programming language (e.g. Ruby Python etc.
Advanced SQL proficiency experience writing complex SQL statements and ability to manipulate a massive amount of data creating dashboards/on demand reports
Advanced proficiency with Excel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
