Position Information
Assists in planning implementing and coordinating the overall bus system including the planning and coordination of new bus routes modifications of existing bus routes and the determination of the level and effectiveness of service; and performs other related duties as required.
Current Vacancies:- There is one vacancy with theDepartment of Planning and PermittingSite Development Division. Position is located at the Fasi Municipal Building in Honolulu. Position assists in the development coordination and implementation of traffic planning projects.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from a regionallyaccredited college or university with major work in city planning architecture engineering economics sociology public administration or a related field.
Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at a regionallyaccredited college/university in the United States. In order to receive credit for the education a foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided. We also reserve the right to request further information about your academic program evidence of comparability or an original transcript.Verification Requirement: You must submit evidence of your Bachelors degree in order to be given credit. Please attach an electronic copy of your diploma and/or official transcript which shows the embossed sealor applicable FCEto your application. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Three years of professional work experience in architecture engineering or socioeconomic research including or supplemented by one year of professional work experience in transportation planning and/or engineering projects.
Having the required number of years of experience will not in itself be accepted as qualifying for the position. Your overall experience must have been of such scope level and responsibility as to conclusively demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
Possession of an appropriate validHawaiiStatedrivers license as required.
The current vacancy does not require a drivers license.Examination Process
