Position Summary

This Diversity Equity & Inclusion internship has multiple learning opportunities.

In May and August you will be part of Ryan Specialtys Diversity Equity & Inclusion team. We know the world is changing and we want Ryan Specialty to change with the world. From June 2nd July 25th participate in a best place to intern program which was recently recognized by Rise Elite 50. The Ryan Specialty internship experience provides a bestinclass hybrid learning opportunity for interns interested in pursuing careers in insurance and risk management. This eightweek program provides access to some of the industrys top producers and underwriters who will share their experiences insights and knowledge. Interns learn about insurance markets specialty lines wholesale brokerage and underwriting as part of a Managing General Underwriter as well as a binding authority. The program has virtual and inperson components including networking industry sessions professional skills training group work projectbased assignments and job shadowing.

  • Continuous professional and personal learning and development
  • Research topics in the Diversity Equity & Inclusion space
  • Assist and support in any Diversity Equity & Inclusion projects and initiatives
  • Share enhancements and ideas to the existing Diversity Equity & Inclusion program
  • Engage actively with speakers and content detailing the processes and procedures of Ryan Specialty and the insurance industry at large in both virtual and onsite settings.
  • Collaborate with peers to create professional polished deliverables (presentations case studies papers etc..
  • Communicate in a clear professional and timely manner in verbal and written forms with internal and external stakeholders across all org levels.
  • Participate in formal and informal learning opportunities targeting analytical technical and decisionmaking skills.
  • Network with leaders and other interns to develop strong professional connections.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned.

The target hourly rate range for this position is per hour.

The wage range for this role considers many factors such as training transferable skills work experience licensure and certification business needs and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Fulltime roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
