Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all WFS field operation New Hire Events (NHE) across the region
Build develop and retain highperforming teams through coaching mentoring and career development
Drive a culture of excellence innovation and continuous improvement
Lead and manage performance reviews succession planning and talent development initiatives
Foster an inclusive workplace environment that promotes diversity and collaboration
Operational Excellence:
Drive operational excellence at New Hire Events (NHE) including scheduling optimization labor resource allocation and KPI achievement
Flawlessly execute standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across all locations within the region
Establish effective communication strategies across all levels of your regional organization
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Manage budget and resource allocation across the region
Strategic Planning and :
Drive all strategic initiatives to enhance the candidate experience and drive operational efficiency
Develop longterm staffing strategies aligned with business growth objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with crossfunctional stakeholders to execute all business requirements
Drive innovation and share best practices across the region and network
Requirements:

A day in the life
As a Regional Manager you oversee and are accountable but not limited for two main aspects of the Work Force Staffing field operations for a defined geography of multiple(nodes) or market segments with 7 direct reports. 1 Operations of New Hire Events (NHE) including schedules organizing resources and ensuring node leaders are delivering on all KIPs 2 WFS Regional Manager will be responsible for developing strategic plan to engage and develop reporting leaders.
Regionals will be required to visit adjacent NHE sites within a reasonable travel time radius inside the home market during nontravel weeks. Travel week will consist of a regional visit to each of their Regions nodes completing a WFS Regional Visit Form a minimum of once Node per quarter. Travel will account up to 75 of the time.
The Southwest South region covers a geographic territory including the San Diego CA area Los Angeles and Ontario area along with Phoenix and Tucson AZ.
Bachelors degree or 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
3 years of experience managing hourly and salary employees
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or other tracking and reporting systems like Salesforce
Crossfunctional project management experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
Masters degree or MBA preferred
5 years of experience in a fast paced customeroriented environment such as operations administrative support customer service retail hospitality staffing recruiting human resources or other related field
3 years of experience managing hourly and salary employees
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or other tracking and reporting systems like Salesforce
Exceptional analytical skills comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings experience establishing and tracking key performance metrics including return on investment
Crossfunctional project management experience
Basic/Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
