The Womack Department of Educational Leadership at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a fulltime tenuretrack faculty position #120440 for its Professional Counseling Program at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The start date for the position is August 1 2025.
The Professional Counseling Program offers a CACREPaccredited Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S. in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling. The program offers traumainformed classes with a concentration on the effective treatment of trauma and its implications on clients overall wellness. In addition to the infusion of trauma the program is dedicated to the promotion of cultural awareness and competency; therefore the curriculum is anchored in a cultural and social justice framework.
A terminal degree in counselor education from a CACREP accredited program is required by the appointment date.
Two 2 years of postmasters experience working in a clinical or school setting.
Applicants must be licenseeligible in the state of Tennessee.
