We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead Amazons global 3P fee strategy for services related to Selling On Amazon. Our 3P (ThirdParty) business includes Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) and Merchant Fulfillment Network (MFN) channels. With Sellers contributing to over 50 of Amazons online sales 3P Fee strategy is integral to Amazons ability to deliver on its goal of offering a vast selection of products at low prices to customers.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical background track record of effective business partnership and ability to deliver results in an ambiguous fastpaced and dynamic environment. The candidate must have the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across crossfunctional and crossregional stakeholders to understand topline and cost drivers and deliver high quality insights to senior leaders to influence fee strategy.
Key job responsibilities
The role will support inventory management fee strategy cost reporting and analytics and fee revenue forecasting.
Develop financial models and advanced analytical tools to identify fee optimization opportunities and influence fee decisions
Lead ad hoc analytics projects to guide fee strategy and data science work
Support annual fee change cycle for 1 or more regions
Build and maintain in depth knowledge across key business areas by staying current on initiatives challenges and opportunities across the business.
Inventory management fees include monthly storage long term storage storage utilization surcharge low inventory surcharge inbound fees and incentives. The role involves extensive coordination with multiple operations regional finance and fee strategy teams and will support WW marketplaces.
A day in the life
As the Finance Manager you will work closely with multiple business teams including fee strategy fee science product econ and operations to shape the monetization of our 3P business. You will be responsible for identifying growth and profit opportunities and partnering with the business teams to develop fee strategy for a global multiBillion dollar revenue line.

5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
BA or BS in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering Math Computer Science) and 5 years of finance experience or Masters degree and 3 years of finance experience
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
