Job Description
MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown is seeking a fulltime BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist for a wellestablished nationally ranked heart and vascular practice located in Columbia South Carolina.
This year U.S. News & World Report ranked MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown as High Performing in the treatment of Heart Attack and Heart Failure. Additionally the hospital achieved the #10 spot on the PINCAI list of the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals for 2023.
The Columbia practice is part of MUSC Healths greater Heart & Vascular Center which provides compassionate care and advanced treatment to patients across South Carolina. MUSC Health Heart & Vascular Center has received the Society of Thoracic Surgeons 3star rating 20 years in a row is accredited by the Society of Chest Pain Centers and is a BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina BlueDistinction Center for Cardiac Care.

We invite you to join a hardworking team of 22 cardiologists 2 cardiovascular surgeons and 18 cardiology APPs to provide advanced treatment and personalized care to patients in Columbia SC and the surrounding communities.
About the position:
- Call shared with existing AHF Cardiologist and supported by Cardiologists
- Access to cardiac CT MRI 3D Echo PET and SPECT equipment electrophysiology equipment and a cath lab on site
- Dedicated group of over 36 providers promoting teamwork efficiency and excellent patient care
- Wellrespected Heart & Vascular practice with a 40year history in the community
- Quick rampup time with excellent local marketing and outreach support
