Know Your Rights: Notice for California Applicants: the supervision of the Director the Payment Review Specialist position is responsible for accurate and timely payment analysis of managed care contracts to determine that appropriate reimbursement is received. Utilizing many complex and varying regulations guidelines and systems analyzes payments received from insurance companies to assure maximum and correct reimbursement of Hospitals receivables. Proactively works with payers and inhouse resources to identify and resolve issues that hinder optimal and correct account payment. Utilizes and applies the appropriate State and Federal regulations in order to assure compliance in payment practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years hospital billing and collection experience.
- Medical and Insurance terminology essential.
- Knowledge of CPT ICD9 HCPCS coding structures
Sherman Oaks Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role which includes estimated wages benefits and other forms of compensation is $25.70 to $33.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
