Job Description Summary
The Department of Management and Leadership in the College of Business and Public Management at the University of La Verne seeks a candidate to fill a tenuretrack position in Management at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to begin in the fall of 2016. The Department seeks an individual who strives to be an outstanding teacher and scholar in one or more of the following fields: organizational theory/behavior leadership and research methods/capstone. The successful candidate must have earned or be expected to earn a Ph.D. in Management from an AACSB accredited institution by July 2016 and demonstrate the ability to publish in high quality peerreviewed journals to teach effectively in graduate and undergraduate programs and to provide service to the University and community. The College of Business and Public Management is growing and is positioning for pursuit of AACSB accreditation. The candidate selected will have an opportunity to join a committed and diverse faculty and to play a key role in planning the future direction and growth of the College and participate in collaborative research projects and outreach to the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. CBPM seeks candidates whose teaching research and service have prepared them to contribute to the universitys commitment to diversity and inclusivity in higher education. Minimum Qualifications
1. Ph.D. in Management from an AACSB accredited institution. Doctoral candidates with an expected completion date of July 2016 are encouraged to apply. 2.
