Department Support Services is recruiting for a fulltime
Human Resource Consultant1
in Anchorage.

What You Will Be Doing:

This position serves as the Recruitment Supervisor for the Department of Family and Community Services providing oversight of the Recruitment Services team to ensure recruitment processes are being properly executed and following personnel rules. Duties include providing professional level Human Resource Consultation consisting of supervision and of the State of Alaskas recruitment program; being part of the Recruitment Services lead team; administration of the State of Alaskas Injured Worker Reassignment program. In this strategic and dynamic recruitment position you will have the opportunity to be innovative and creative rethinking conventional Human Resource approaches to meet department challenges.

Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in:

Training in human resource management business administration or organizational leadership or experience supporting management in running an organization/enterprise or supporting professionals working in human resources (such as recruitment payroll classification and compensation employee and labormanagement relations employer provided benefit programs employment law compliance or employee training).

Training and education in this guidance are synonyms for the process of acquiring knowledge and skills through instruction. It includes instruction through formal and informal methods (such as classroom online selfstudy and onthejob) from accredited and unaccredited sources and longduration (such as a postsecondary degree) and shortduration (such as a seminar) programs.
