Job Description

The candidate will be working as a member of the SubSame Day (SSDDirect) delivery team as we work to provide faster than same day delivery across North America. We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic tactical crossfunctional and technology projects and programs within Amazon Supply Chain. This role involves regular communication with operation teams tech teams and project sponsors on status risks and change control. The role requires ownership of outbound planning on road metric performance and driving process improvements across the program. The supply chain manager will focus on building robust processes by keeping plans feedback and goals aligned between all stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
Manage full lifecycle of complex crossfunctional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations
Working with Business Finance Tech and operations partners to lead initiatives surrounding cost volume and speed optimization goals
Define the program (mission vision tenets) set objectives analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics
Build scalable handsoff the wheel products and systems partnering with analytical and technological teams
Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment seeking to understand business problems automation limitations scaling factors boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions
Partners with customers internal/external teams and engineering teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order
Oversee gaps between teams processes and systems helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g. requirements not sufficiently understood or documented ineffective crossteam collaboration longterm impact(s) from thirdparty solutions security not considered insufficient stakeholder review etc.
Work with program managers business leaders and leadership team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
Develop implement and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects
Roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Operations Business Engineering Finance or related fields
2 years of forecasting designing or modeling supply chain
2years of corporate process improvement experience within supply chain
MS Excel: Intermediate. Vlookups and Pivot Tables at minimum.
SQL/Programming Language: Basic utilize to extract manipulate and analyze data.

Practical application of program management methodology including PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen
Advanced knowledge of analytical tools such as SQL Tableau MS Excel or Microsoft Access
Demonstrated ability working in an ambiguous environment
Experience handling changing priorities and using good judgment when working in stressful situations
Demonstrable problemsolving mathematic and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
Executive level written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product our business and the competitive landscape
High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously
Experience with Forecasting Sales & Operations Planning and Inventory management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
