Required Education and/or Experience:
Degreeseeking UA Little Rock student enrolled in classes at the time of application;
Currently classified as a freshman sophomore junior or senior and in good academic standing;
Eligible to legally work 20 hours per week in the United States;
Ability to work a flexible schedule;
Experience with UA Little Rock technology and accounts (Qless BOSS Email Blackboard).
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
Customer service experience preferred
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as representatives of the college;
Energetic and positive attitudes about UALR and the college experience;
Serve as role models for incoming college students;
Specific duties are designated by the department hiring manager to include but are not limited to customer service campus tours and public speaking;
Ability to answer common questions regarding Admissions Financial Aid and other student services offices;
Ability to effectively communicate in person while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Knowledge Abilities and Skills:
Knowledge of UA Little Rock as a whole including campus buildings operations academic colleges campus events and student services;
Serving as a concierge to all students and guests who are transitioning to UA Little Rock;
Maintain a professional present and engaged demeanor;
Knowledge and understanding of the FERPA Privacy Act;
Selfstarter;
Prompt and dependable;
Conflict resolution skills.
