Job Description
- Collect cost information and maintain an expense database
- Build data accumulation systems.
- Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries rent and insurance) P
- lan and record variable costs (e.g. raw material purchases and operating costs)
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
- Prepare budget reports (for the company and for each department).
- Analyze and report profit margins Prepare cost forecasts (monthly quarterly and annual) Assist with monthend and yearend closing Identify and recommend costeffective solutions
Qualifications :
- Proven work experience as a cost accountant cost analyst bookkeeper or similar position Extensive knowledge of accounting procedures.
- Indepth understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience with accounting software Computer skills MS Excel in particular
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with accounting software Computer literacy MS Excel in particular Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills Integrity with ability to handle confidential information.
- Advanced English
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or relevant study.
