Job Description

The role
As we continue to grow in size scale and complexity we are looking for a Financial Control Associate to join our Finance function. Reporting to the Finance Manager Financial Control this newly created role will support our financial control function by ensuring accurate financial reporting maintaining robust internal controls and supporting the companys compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards. The Finance Associate will assist in key financial processes including monthend close and variance analysis.

The successful applicant will be joining at an exciting time as we invest in strengthening our accounting operations and improving the quality and robustness of our financial reporting with a particular focus on the standardization and automation of reconciliation and robust internal controls.

How youll make an impact

  • Support the integration from legacy systems to Workday financials.
  • Ensure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Review and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial trends identifying key drivers.
  • Lead and execute financial control processes including reconciliations journal entries and reporting procedures.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with finance teams in the London HQ and other international offices to standardize and improve financial reporting processes.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems and tools.
  • Assist in managing external audits and addressing audit findings effectively.

Qualifications :

What were looking for

Successful candidates will have experience working in a highvolume complex and dynamic environment managing multiple deliverables while maintaining accuracy and quality.

  • Bachelors Degree in Economics Accounting or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in a financial control audit or financial reporting role ideally within a multinational company.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and familiarity with local GAAP.
  • Experience working with complex financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g. Workday Netsuite or similar).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing financial processes in a fastpaced environment.
