Job Description
Fantastic benefits 100 paid for by providers
Monday through Friday 8:30am 5:00pm
JOB DUTIES:
- Supports the provider in a variety of patient care duties and performs related clerical duties in accordance with the area assigned
- Rooms patients collects vitals and records all medical information in the patients EMR
- Prepares exam rooms for providers use collects specimens administers and documents all prescribed OTC medication and drug samples per protocols
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies
- Performs administrative/clerical duties such as filing phone calls and faxing
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- High school graduate or GED
- At least one year of work experience in a medical office setting
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and insurance verification
- Ability to demonstrate a mature dependable and responsible approach when interacting with patients physicians coworkers and additional outside sources
