JOB DESCRIPTION
As a skilled healthcare professional you competently perform routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers to diagnose treat monitor and prevent injury or disease. You work independently using your sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures that deliver accurate results in a timely manner. You gain the confidence and cooperation of patients their families/support groups and other healthcare providers through your competent patient assessment attentive monitoring and effective communication. You always adhere to all local/state/federal regulations codes policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Additionally you may also be responsible for performing specific procedures or orienting other staff to the department.

DUTIES
- Assessing evaluating and testing patients.
- Preparing and positioning patients for imaging exams.
- Attending to the patients needs during imaging procedures.
- Perform xray studies independently.
- Perform 2D/3D screening and diagnostic mammography studies independently.
- Perform all required QC testing data entry and mammography tracking documentation tasks.
- Assist patients from checkin through exam completion and provide patients with white gloves and compassionate service.
- Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate applicable office equipment.
- Exhibit the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public.
- Exhibit the ability to maintain confidentiality think and act independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintains regular consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
- And other duties as required.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification. (In relevant*modality)
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification. (Preferred)
- AART American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification.
- A valid unencumbered Radiology license for the State.
- Currently meet MQSA requirements to perform mammography independently.
- Have 1 or more years of experience with both 2D and 3D modalities as well as diagnostic mammography.
- Experience with Breast Ultrasound.
- Needs to be able to lift or move 50 pounds unassisted.
- Have been fully vaccinated or are willing to receive a COVID19 vaccination. (religious/medical exemptions are allowed)
- Current vaccinations and health clearance certification.
- Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
- Must have at least 12 months of relevant consecutive acute care experience in this specialty.
- Associate or Bachelors degree. (Preferred)
- Highlevel interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with patients during stressful experiences.
- Strong organizational abilities and good communication skills
- The appropriate license to work in their state/county.
- Fluent in English.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have the ability to stand walk bend squat and stretch frequently.
- Must possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs.
- Needs to have adequate hearing and visual acuity including adequate color vision.
- Requires fine motor skills adequate eyehand coordination and the ability to grasp and hand objects efficiently.
- Must be able to use proper body mechanics to assist patients in ambulating and transferring in and out of bed chair or wheelchair.
- May be required to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to use standard and other isolation precautions due to the threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids or infectious diseases.
- Needs to have the ability to communicate effectively through reading writing and speaking in person or by phone.
- May be required to periodic use of a personal computer.

HOURS OF OPERATION
FullTime PositionNo Nights or Weekend Coverages/No OnCall Requirements!
(We are now offering a contract option for this role. We are open to 412 month contracts)
MondayThursday
- 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Fridays
- 7:30 am to 1:00 pm

- $Annually
