Job Description
Compensation Range:
Position Summary:
This position may involve teaching a day evening and/or weekend schedule at the Dale Mabry Plant City and/or SouthShore campuses. This position may involve working at clinical sites. This is a tenuredtrack faculty position.
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in nursing and a current Florida registered nursing (RN orARNP) license or eligibility to receive the license. HCC desires candidates with ongoing professional development interests love of teaching and enthusiasm for campus and college committees and activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer applicants with experience teaching medical surgical nursing or medical surgical experience and teaching experience in higher education especially at the community college level.

A copy of a current Florida registered nursing (RN orARNP) license or eligibility to receive the license a cover letter and resume detailing their nursing work experience and a copy of their graduate transcripts from an accredited higher education institution showing at least the minimum qualifications.
If the transcript copy does not reflect awarding of the required degree applicants must attach written documentation from the educational institution showing when the degree was awarded. Applicants with a qualifying degree from an educational institution outside the United States Canada and the United Kingdom must attach a foreign credential evaluation from one of the members of the National Association of Credential Evaluations Services (website: .

Pay Rate:
Faculty members will be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the contract with the faculty union
- Grade 2: Masters Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in field $50421.94
- Grade 2: Masters Degree with 60 graduate semester hours in the field $53004.11
- Grade 1: PhD in major field $55587.43
Up to four salary steps may be applied to the starting salary based on experience.
