Description
We are Nashvilles original community based hospital. Joint Commission accredited NGH readily accommodates a wide range of needs from emergency services and acute care to ancillary and ambulatory services. NGH continues to maintain its strong commitment to the healthcare needs of Nashville and Davidson County underserved while also providing care to all segments of the community
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care including routine and highrisk pregnancies preventive care diagnosis treatment and management of various conditions related to womens health.
- Clinical Duties:Conduct physical exams order and interpret diagnostic tests perform surgeries and provide prenatal and postnatal care.
- Patient Education:Educate patients on preventive care family planning contraceptive options and overall reproductive health.
- Collaboration:Work closely with other healthcare professionals including nurses midwives and specialists to deliver coordinated care.
- Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
- Emergency Care:Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care when necessary.
- Continuing Education:Stay current with advances in the field of obstetrics and gynecology through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification:Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Licensure:Able to obtain a Valid and active medical license in the Tennessee upon offer .
- Experience:Previous experience in an OB/GYN setting preferred but new graduates will also be considered.
- Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
