As a Senior Analyst Category Intelligence at Target you will play a pivotal role in fueling category growth through deep data analysis and actionable insights. Partnering closely with merchandising teams you will leverage advanced analytics and the 3C frameworkCategory Competition and Customerto optimize Assortment Pricing and Promotional strategies. Your expertise will play a key role in driving datainformed decisions that boost revenue grow market share and solidify Target Plus competitive edge in the marketplace.
Business & AssortmentStrategy:
Utilize data and analytics to evaluate category performance and evangelize insights. Support assortment planning strategies through market research and competitive benchmarking.
Contribute to monthly business goal planning and forecasting providing insights for category expansion and creating a curated assortment experience.
Identify growth opportunities by analyzing emerging trends guest behaviors and market dynamics to optimize shortterm performance and inform longterm strategy.
Pricing and Promo Insights:
Ensure competitive pricing and effective promotional strategies to deliver value and a seamless guest experience.
Analyze pricing trends and promotional effectiveness recommending datadriven adjustments to maintain a competitive edge.
Partner Insights:
Support vendor relationships across partner Tiers by providing actionable insights and conducting indepth analyses to align partner performance with business objectives.
Deliver analytical support to strategic and Preferred Tier partners to drive growth and optimize collaboration.
Business Insights & Reporting:
Oversee business and partner reporting processes ensuring accurate and timely delivery aligned with SLAs.
Monitor and drive operational KPIs at the business unit level using insights to optimize category performance and improve decisionmaking.
Global CFT Partnership:
Collaborate with Product Technology Merchandising Item and Operations teams to enhance category performance through automation key item strategies and seamless integration of processes.
Partner locally and globally across teams to ensure the successful of category strategies and elevate the overall experience for Guests and Partners.
About you: Three/Fouryear degree B.S. and/or B.A.
6 years of experience in merchandising function forecasting and data fueled product selection
4 years managing an ecommerce business business analytics with specific experience related to marketing and site experience and optimization preferred
Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships develop Business Operations Enhance Selling and Category Development
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with strong planning and organizational skills
