Lake Forest High School District 115 is seeking an assistant boys track & field coach for the Spring 2025 Season.

Description:The assistant boys track coach will assist the Head Coach to organize coordinate and promote quality coaching under the direction of the Varsity Head Coach while carrying out the LFHS Mission and philosophy of the Athletic Department. The Assistant Boys Track Coach will provide effective instruction and assist with program management demonstrate leadership that will ensure a positive learning environment for studentathletes and will stress the importance of educational based athletics as a top priority. This Assistant Coach will work with the boys participating in the track & field program at LFHSspecifically pole vaulters. The Assistant Boys Track Coach will demonstrate a high degree of ethics professionalism and be a positive role model for all studentathletes.

Qualifications:All coaches in an IHSA sports must hold an Illinois Teaching Certificate registered in Lake County ASEP certificate (American Sport Education Program) or have completed an approved national Federation of High Schools (NFHS) coaching certification program. Coaches must maintain current AED/CPR certification and meet all IHSA coaching certification annual requirements. Prior experience coaching and/or competing in Pole Vault preferred.

Stipend: PerLFEA CBA
