We are currently looking for an Associate to join our Financial Services practice based in Melbourne. Working with highly experienced financial services Partner Lucinda McCannyou will work on a variety of matters covering:
- Front end advisory work with an emphasis on governance prudential regulation and conduct regulation in the banking superannuation and insurance sectors
- Advising on domestic and offshore investments for superannuation trustees
- Strategic regulatory engagement and risk advisory covering regulatory approvals and regulatory response and investigations enforcement and remediation in the superannuation insurance and banking sectors
- Board and governance arrangements
- Business establishment and product development including licensing product distribution and disclosure
- Corporate (fund and other regulated mergers and consolidation)
Requirements
- 2 years PQE
- Excellent analytical technical and drafting skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- An interest in working in crossborder matters
- Practice growth and teamwork mindset
