Job Description

To: All Teaching and Administrator Personnel Brockton Public SchoolsFrom: Dr. Kathleen F. Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSubject: School Nurse for The Elementary April Vacation Math Acceleration Academy An Acceleration Academy is a weeklong academic program designed to accelerate student learning through engaging standardsaligned lessons that meet the specific academic needs of students participating in the program. Students who attend an Academy receive the equivalent of approximately one extra month of learning in one week. The Brockton Public Schools has received a MA DESE grant to support an Acceleration Academy focused on math for students in grades 35. Qualifications:MA DESE Licensed School NurseCurrently serving as a School Nurse in the Brockton Public SchoolsResponsibilities:Serve as school nurse for April Vacation Math Acceleration AcademyProgram Dates and Times: During Program: April 22 April 25 7:45 AM 2:00 PMCompensation: Program 25 hours total at the contractual per hour rate plus 5 hours preprogram. Total of 30 hours at the contractual per hour Source: MA DESE Acceleration Academy Grant
