An exciting job role has recently become available for a Social Worker. They are looking for a new member to join the East Community Team in Wakefield.
What will your responsibilities be
You will be required to provide highquality adult social care for older people and adults by assessing and meeting the care needs of adult citizens across the Wakefield District regardless of office location. As you are required to work on the AMCP/BIA rota and to maintain competency you may be required to work outside of normal business hours as determined by the Service. You will be working with the general public and there may be a degree of dealing with difficult situations. The job is generally officebased however there is a requirement for this role to be flexible about working location which may be between work sites. As such you will be required to travel to work sites predominantly within the Wakefield District but occasionally throughout the Yorkshire and Humber Region to attend regional meetings and network events.

To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration be eligible to work in the UK hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level and have postqualified experience.
