Job Description

The Manager Exhibitions will be responsible for planning and executing exhibitions across DAG galleries and museums. This role requires a balance of academic expertise and practical skills ensuring that exhibitions are conceptually strong wellresearched and effectively delivered. The ideal candidate should be detailoriented proactive and capable of independently curating smaller shows while supporting broader curatorial and collections management responsibilities.

This role is ideal for a candidate who combines academic depth with handson capabilities and is eager to grow within a dynamic curatorial environment.

About DAG:


DAG was established in 1993 and is now the worlds largest and bestknown commercial gallery selling and curating exhibitions of Indian and South Asian Modern and Contemporary Art. DAG showcases the breadth and quality of 20th Century art from this region covering all the main styles and themes of artistic endeavor in painting sculpture drawings watercolors and lithographs. DAG participates in national and international art fairs including Art Dubai Art Basel Hong Kong Art Stage Singapore Masterpiece London and the India Art Fair New Delhi. DAGs presence at these venues has brought growing attention and multiple awards for its innovative pavilion designs and curated presentations of select works of art.



Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience:


  • 68 years of experience in exhibition planning curatorial research and within museums galleries or cultural institutions.

  • Academic background in Art History Fine Arts or a related field is preferred.

  • Strong research and writing skills with the ability to produce scholarly and audiencefriendly content.

  • Experience in exhibition logistics artwork handling and installation processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects coordinate with diverse stakeholders and meet deadlines.

  • Willingness to expand into broader collections management and research functions as needed.

  • A keen understanding of art movements mediums and historical contexts.
