RPOs client is actively seeking a driven and proactive Commercial Buyer/Representative to join their team in the S Metal and Recycling industry in Prospecton Durban. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a knack for building relationships negotiating deals and working handson in a dynamic fastpaced environment. If youre a selfstarter who thrives on securing quality material and expanding business opportunitiesthis could be your next big move. This is a fulltime onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase various types of s metal from businesses contractors and suppliers.
- Conduct site visits to assess the quality and quantity of available materials.
- Provide accurate quotes based on current market trends and client needs.
- Negotiate pricing that ensures both competitiveness and profitability.
- Attend client meetings to discuss recycling requirements logistics and service options.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business.
- Identify new clients and actively pursue new business opportunities within the s metal space.
- Coordinate logistics and followups to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Background in sales or commercial buying (experience in any industry will be considered).
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to conduct site visits and evaluate s metal quality.
- A formal qualification or diploma would be advantageous.
- Selfmotivated organized and goaldriven.
