Trade Floor Support Analyst
Fully Onsite in London (EC2Y)
Day Rate Contract Inside IR35

Are you an established Trade Floor Support Analystwith experience working in a busy trading floor environment As a trusted recruitment partner were looking for someone with excellent knowledge of trading systems and the trade flow to provide 1st3rd line level support for the trade floor of our international banking you are happy working in a fully onsite position based in London with shifts covering 6:30AM 7PM and occasional OOO (weekend / bank holiday) work with technical knowledge that includes a mix of Trading Systems Knowledge (e.g. Reuters Refinitiv Bloomberg) Trading Products Knowledge ( FX and Market Data) and Trade Floor Hardware / Infrastructure(IPC Dealerboard Amulet Blade VDI Windows Server Windows 11 youd likely be a good match for this position.

As a Trade Floor Support Analyst you will provide comprehensive IT support to the trading floor responding to user and project team requests diagnosing and resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth operation of hardware software and front office systems. This includes 1st 2nd and 3rd line support routine system upgrades incident documentation and acting as a key interface between users and service providers.

Your Role

  • Provide IT support to the trading floor including 1st 2nd and 3rd line support for treasury/front office systems.
  • Respond to user and project team requests diagnosing and resolving technical issues within service level agreements.
  • Assist users in effectively utilising desktop systems products and services offering advice and known solutions where applicable.
  • Perform routine system upgrades installations and maintenance of trading floor hardware and software platforms.
  • Act as an interface between users and service providers documenting incidents monitoring progress and ensuring diagnostic information is available for resolution.
  • Escalate unresolved issues appropriately while personally resolving the majority of referred problems

About You

  • Proven experience in a trading floor environment within a banking or financial organisation.
  • Familiarity with market data trading systems desktop/server platforms and IPC Dealerboards.
  • Strong knowledge of trading systems including LSEG (Reuters/Refinitiv) and Bloomberg applications.
  • Understanding of trade flow Equities FX products and market datatrading tools.
  • Expertise in Windows Server Citrix Ffirewalls STP trader workstation hardware (Amulet Blade) and VDI technology .
  • Ability to absorb and apply technical and business information related to trade flow and wider information systems.
  • Analytical and systematic approach to problemsolving working to high standards.
  • Strong communication skills and effective teamwork including planning and monitoring work within deadlines.
