Are you aPhysical Occupational or Speech Therapist looking fora new challenge in your careerWe have a perfect opportunity towork in asupervisory role while still being able to provide patient position includes but is not limited to .8 FTE direct patient care; staffing mentoring and program development in multiple rehab disciplines (Cardiac Rehab OT PT Speech) outcome/competency assessment compliance with regulatory standards and participating in process improvements to advance patient care outcomes and satisfaction.

The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor will demonstrate strong organizational and computer skills to supervise multiple projects at the same time and communicate timely clearly and in a professional manner with staff patients physicians and other internal/external customers across the HealthPartners enterprise. The supervisor will demonstrate skills in listening conflict management system problem solving decisionmaking and process improvement. As a therapist supervisor will practice in compliance with professional standards best practice guidelines and professional code of ethics in a growing outpatient orthopedic clinic.

Candidates must be licensed to practice one of the following disciplines: Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology in MN with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. Supervisory experience is preferred. FTE is fulltime.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of all Leaders:

  1. Provide Leadership consistent with Hutchinson Healths vision of Health as it could be Affordability as it must be through relationships built on trust.
  2. Maintain a consistent visible and positive role within the organization.
  3. Ensure departments are in compliance with all laws and regulatory bodies. Communicates and educates staff and develops processes to ensure compliance is continuously met.
  4. Practices fiscal responsibility and cost control by monitoring and adhering to financial reports forecasts and budgets. Includes staff in continuous efforts of financial improvement.
  5. Plans and delegates the work of others. Maintains appropriate staffing and follows service area productivity guidelines and expectations. Involves staff in continuous efforts to identify and implement productivity improvement initiatives.
  6. Monitors patient experience quality and/or customer service as applicable and involves staff in continuous efforts towards improvement.
  7. Follows HR hires orients and trains new staff. Supervises coaches counsels and appraises service area staff. Retains solid and high performing staff.
  8. Facilitates communication and teamwork between departments to build relationships and facilitate department and interdepartmental success.
  9. Develops and tracks service area policies procedures processes and competencies and communicates updates and changes regularly with staff. Manages service area contracts per Contract Review policies.
  10. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities for this service area leader:

  1. Provides Therapy evaluation treatment planning and treatmentimplementation within their therapy discipline; addresses individual developmental cognitive and physical needs as well as cultural differences.
  2. Coordinates client care with other disciplines through good communication and intervention recommendations.
  3. Provides education information and training to clients family caregivers and community to promote continuity of care optimum therapeutic outcome and community health.
  4. Maintains documentation and records of treatment performance to assure quality client care meet regulatory and professional standards and receive optimal reimbursement.
  5. Acts as a consultant to internal and external customers.
  6. Maintains education knowledge and training required to provide uptodate quality care to meet client case load and community needs and meet minimum state licensure requirements.
  7. Overseesassistants support staff students and volunteers.
  8. Participates in quality improvement and peer review to assure effective and efficient services.
  9. Lead/Coordinate daily workflow in service/area of responsibility including monitoring and make adjustments based on work requirements in daytoday staffing and scheduling in area/service of responsibility.
  10. Communicate with all customers regarding issues in area/service of responsibility.
  11. Recommend and facilitate development or maintenance of programs services quality standards processes and/or systems in area/service of responsibility.
  12. Recommend or implement monitor and maintain standards for productivity and costeffectiveness in area/service of responsibility.
  13. Make recommendations regarding area/service budget and goals.
  14. Identify and work to resolve issues related to the safety security and efficiency of systems equipment and supplies essential for customer service/care within area/service.
  15. Assure compliance with accrediting/regulatory agencies in area/service of responsibility.

Education Training or Degree Required:

  1. Graduate from a schoolaccredited by their discipline board (APTA AOTA ASHA).

License/Registration/Certification Required:

  1. Current license as a Registered PhysicalTherapist Occupational Therapist or Speech therapist is required.
  2. Current CPR certification required

Experience and Skills:

Demonstrated leadershipexperience preferred but not required.
