As Deputy Nursery Manager you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery while working closely with the Nursery Manager and team. This fulltime role involves working 38.5 hours per week with shift patterns between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM providing flexibility to support your worklife balance.
What Were Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent) is essential.
- Previous experience in a nursery setting with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and early years development.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to build strong relationships with children parents and colleagues.
- Passionate about supporting childrens learning and development in a safe and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a dedicated team of nursery staff ensuring highquality care and education for children.
- Assist with the daily operations of the nursery maintaining a safe welcoming environment.
- Help create and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support the professional development of nursery staff fostering a positive team culture.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers offering support and updates on childrens progress.
